really thanks to Fumetto10, TorontoRaptors and EddyInter™, Brenda (who really helped me!!!) and obviously to Inches!!!

Position: Handler/Gunner
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 170 lbs
Birthplace: Los Angeles, CA
Nickname: Inches
2002 All-SlamBall First Team - Handler
Streetball experience: And 1 Mix Tape Tour, Nike Freestyle Commercials...

One of the original six SlamBall players, Inches is one of the most exciting players in all of SlamBall. His diminutive stature masks a fierce competitive drive that the Mob is counting on for big things in 2008. Sean Jackson is a crowd favorite, always looking for an opening to execute his legendary McNasty, a 360 degree through the legs slam on a 45 degree axis of rotation. This slam is the envy of the league, as other players are pioneering new signature moves of their own to keep pace with Jackson's pioneering spirit.

SB Arena Hello Sean. First of all, thank you for accepting the interview. Would you like to say something before we start?
Sean Jackson Yeah. I appreciate the interview and all the love and support from my fans from here in the states to you all overseas...thank you!!!

SBA This year we were able to follow a little of the training camp in Bradenton. One of the most important news and more alarming for many fans was the high number of injuries and especially the forfeit of some players for the entire season for their serious injury. What do you think about it? Were you ever seriously injured (this year or in past seasons)?
SJ I feel bad for the players that had been injured and sent home. I mean you have to remember that this sport is very intense and to expect to get hurt. Conditioning and giving yourself time to heal properly is very important.
I did get a minor injury this training season – I twisted my ankle. And playing this sport for many years I knew I had to give myself time to heal. But trust me once my ankle was better I was back on the court murdering folks!!!

SBA Mike Tollin and Pat Croce told of a true professional league. But is it possible for a sport that makes a championship just in one week?
SJ This is all a stepping stone process. No it isn’t possible to have a full championship after only one week...but we need to regain our fan base and get people back on the SLAMBALL tip and the one week will become a full few month season!

SBA You have been a slamball player since the beginning... You were in the Original Six. Don't you get a certain effect to be one of the 5 players still active who developed this sport?
SJ Most definitely! I am honored to be one of the 5 still on the sport. It leaves me speechless and is an indescribable feeling...just to remember back when we only had a half court with one tramp and now a whole court with teams! I am just proud to know I helped develop this sport!

SBA How did you enter in the Original Six? How did you meet Mason?
SJ I met Mason through my cousin Gene, what up Gene?( just a little shout out). He and Mason had run into each other a few times and Mason mentioned his dream and asked my cousin if he knew anyone that would be interested. Gene instantly thought of me. I was in NY at the time I got the phone call explaining it all and became eager to get back home to Cali. Mason and I met and that was it! I was in!

SBA When did you decide to do the Mob "tattoo" on your back? Is it a true tatoo?
SJ I honestly don’t know what I was thinking...not in a bad way...just to me “I AM THE MOB”. I looked at my jersey and said that was it. One of the guys in FL mentioned he knew of a tattoo artist – scheduled it and it was done.
Trust me it is very real! I had put a lot of sweat and maybe even a tear or two into it. And I damn near broke Landlord and Shakes hands.

SBA Who is your best friend in the Mob? And among all the players? What about the relationship with Coach Kirsch (you know, we interviewed him)?
SJ ME! I am my own best friend!
Otherwise, of course Mason, Landlord, Shakes, LockJaw and Pat Croce, we all rode it out from the beginning.
Me and Brendan Kirsch...hmmm...we are like Larry Brown and Allen Iverson – we always agree to disagree, at all times. I know he thinks I am a hot head – I am – we have an understanding. Like I said before “I AM THE MOB” and please feel free to quote that!

SBA In your opinion would not it be better that each team trains on their own account to stimulate competition instead of training all together like you did before the season?
SJ Oh of course, I think we should train by ourselves. Not to give away our offensive and defensive plays. Our secret attacks and skills or tricks. I mean we want to always keep the other team guessing at what we are going to do.

SBA How do you explain that the Mob is one of the teams with more fans, although in the first two seasons it didn't win a championship?
SJ Because have always been the more aggressive team from the start. We are fun to watch. When we come on the court we step like WARRIORS and once you are done playing us you will still have our name in your mouth.

SBA When did you invent the McNasty? What do you feel whenever you do it?
SJ I was just messing around with some 360’s and got so high up I decided to try putting the ball through my legs. I did it and by the time I hit the ground Mason was like “What the hell? That was just nasty...” and from there the “McNasty” was born.
It is my trademark...hahaha...I got a couple in this season...no more details just watch the games!

SBA Which trick do you like best among the other players?
SJ Shakes has a move, we just haven’t named it yet, but it is sick! He maneuvers from one tramp to another bouncing the ball on the tramps and while in mid air catching it – it is hard to explain – but man, it is smooth!

SBA You are one of the smaller players and at the same time one of the strongest. What is your secret?
SJ I am the secret. No for real, I just get into a zone! I am fearless! And I think that is a lot of it...being fearless!

SB Arena Do you prefer being a handler or a gunner? Why?
SJ I prefer to be a gunner. I get the ball more and I like to show off my skills. And who doesn’t like the feeling of scoring?

SBA Dan Peterson, the commentator of Slamball for Italian TV, always says that you are the Allen Iverson of slamball. Do you like that? Do you feel a little like him?
SJ It is an honor to be compared to Allen, has been and always will be my favorite player.
In some sense yeah we are alike. Our lifestyles and reputations – we are bad boys, but family men.

SBA How do you see the future of Slamball?
SJ Very prosperous! All I see is growth. I am excited and cannot wait for Slamball to reach it’s full potential.

SBA Next year the teams should be sold and should all settle in different cities ... If Mob go to Chicago, do you move there?
SJ Let’s just be honest, if the money and stability is right than I am there. I will be where my team is, always.

SBA Without wanting news about this championship, could you make the name of a rookie to keep an eye on?
SJ Watch out for Cory. He plays with the Slashers, he can do the damn thing!

SBA Sean, we would meet you better as a man... can we?
SJ Oh man, of course. Rumor is I might be there later this summer. If this rumor is to come true than I will be sure to look you up!

SBA Let's start in music... Can you tell us what you have on your iPod?
SJ I am a big Rap/Hip-Hop lover. I mean I like all that slow stuff too but to get me pumped give me a little WU-TANG, 50 CENT, 2-PAC...you know, the stuff that just makes you want to get out there and run it!

SBA You made appearances in some films such as Love And Basketball (2000), Scary Movie 2 (2001) and Like Mike (2002), and some TV's shows as Arliss and City Of Angels. You have laid in Alaye calendar for the month of June and you did commercials for Nike. Do you wish to re-convert in acting when your career as a player will be over?
SJ I am the jack of all trades! I am always looking into future projects. I enjoy acting and commercials, it is fun. I am also interested into turning my years on the court into experience to share to other youngsters that want to learn Slamball or just streetball in general. I have thought about coaching and maybe even owning a Slamball team. I have my mind on a couple different things. Just keep your eyes open!

SBA By the way, you're 38 years old and, at least for what we have seen of Powerade 2007 and from the little that is filtered this year, you're always an exceptional player and the decline seems very far... but how can you do that?
SJ I have the fountain of youth in my backyard...haha. No for real – I have to keep myself conditioned. I do my training and constantly test my endurance. Eat right. Only you can feel as old as you are – it is all in the mind – my mindset is early 20’s.

SBA Have you thought about ending your career?
SJ Yeah, I thought about it, but until my bank account is overflowing and my body is done – I am here. I want to make history! I will play until I am 50!

SBA How important is your family for you? How important is the support of Brenda and your children?
SJ Family is very important to me. Without them I don’t think I would push as hard as I do to make all of this happen! They give me strength and keep my spirit young. I have major love for my kids and Brenda. They respect what I do and understand why daddy has to be away from home a lot. It can get hard for us all but the love always gets us through it.

SBA How did you get your nickname "Inches"?
SJ Mason made the character and it just fit me perfectly.

SBA Apart from slamball tell us what you do during the year...
SJ Relax. Enjoy my time with my kids and family. Take a vacation. Always looking into projects – and I do a lot of celebrity basketball games.

SBA Ok Sean, now we leave you in peace. Thank you for the interview and good continuation
SJ Thanks! Much luv! Peace...
